The cover on the far right is my solution to a problem: We needed a full-cover image to announce an important endowment, but had no photos of the late donor. One professor, however, had her handwritten letters to him, including the ones in which she pondered her legacy. I decided to "pose" these letters to create something meaningful. The result was very different from any previous imagery out of engineering, and was positively received. Browse a sample issue (PDF):

My departments have a healthy newsletter production schedule. Since 2006, I have produced up to two per department per year (as many as 6 total). I am responsible for design, layout, most content, most photography, editing, prepress, working with our printers, and prepping mailing lists. My great pleasure was converting these to a more magazine-like format and taking a less-is-more approach to layout and content. 8.5" x 11" folded, 8-20 pp. (usually 12), self cover, 4/4.
